TIMES OF SERVICES The  Service times at Cinnamon Gardens Baptist Church are generally as follows:- 7.30 a.m.                                            Sinhala Tamil  Service. 9.00 a.m. – 9.15 a.m.                          Tea/Fellowship Time. 8.30 a.m. – 10.00 a.m.                         Children’s Sunday School (KMM) 9.15 a.m. – 10.15 a.m.                          Adult Bible School. 10.30 a.m.                                            English Service.  Changes in these times when Quarterly Church Meetings or other events are scheduled will be announced in the Church Calendar.    SECRETARY. Sinhala - Tamil Services

  This service is held every Sunday from 7.30 a.m. to 9.00 a.m. The services include singing of choruses and hymns, a message from the Pastor or a Guest Preacher  in Sinhala with interpretation in Tamil, general prayers, testimonies, intercessory prayers and readings from the Old and New Testaments. All proceedings are in both languages. 

Holy Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday of every month and on special occasions. 

There is a time of fellowship over a cup of tea in the adjoining Ferguson Hall, immediately  after the Service.

English Services

 English services are normally held every Sunday from 10.30 a.m. to 12.00 noon. The services include the singing of choruses and hymns, a message from the Pastor or a Guest Preacher, general and intercessory prayers, and readings from the Old and New Testaments. On particular Sundays the English service may be combined with the Sinhala and Tamil services and the trilingual service would then commence at 9.00 a.m. or some other time to be announced in advance.

Other Services

Additional services are held from time to time on special days, for example during the run-up to Easter Sundays,. and in the evenings on the fifth Sunday of every month, when a healing service is conducted. These are usually announced in advance.
